Working under supervision of a licensed civil engineer provide standard functions of an entry level civil engineer. From surveying data topographical drawings of the land. Prepare drawings detailing drainage, structure, topographic, slope analysis for submission to city. Assist senior engineers in design, checking and reviewing civil engineering plans. Participate in preparing topographic maps, street improvement plans and profiles, rough grading plans and details, sewer and water plans, storm drain plans, hydrology analysis and calculations, retaining walls, plot plans, lot disclosures, drawings specifications and other civil engineering design works utilizing Civil Treaty, AutoCAD (these are software used to draw civil engineering designs). Convert field data ASC file to DXF files utilizing Civil CAD. Assist engineers to perform closure calculations.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and 6 months of experience.
